Scindapsus pictus commonly called “silk pothos” or satin pothos” is a slightly more unusual variety of this very easy care plant. It will vine and cascade and be lovely for years. Bright indirect light and moderately moist soil are perfect for pothos. As with all plants in the Araceae family, this plant contains insoluble Calcium Oxalate crystals that can be irritating to the mouth and GI tract if chewed on or ingested by people or animals.
